Good Day folks ^^

few days ago, i post 5 Best Origami Applications on Google Play..now i wanna share u about the paprcreft applications..with these applications..u can make ur own papercrafts just with ur smartphones.

FYI, these applications is the best I found. Anybody else could have different choice depending on their own opinion, so..here it is

3D Papercraft-paperChibi
★★★★★ PaperChibi is an amazing new application for personalized avatar paper crafts. Check out our video to see how it works: http://paperchibi.com/video Make cute chibi avatars; change their clothes, hairstyle, eyes, and lots more. Then print and make real 3D papercraft avatars. Create chibi friends and family. Make a t-rex or a car for your chibi to ride in.
To assemble: use an adhesive dot roller, scrapbooking glue dots, a glue stick, or small strips of double sided tape.
Works best with photo paper or card stock. Set your printer to use 8.5"x11" or A4 paper. Email a PDF to yourself to print from your desktop computer or laptop. You can try installing and printing on your device with a printer app from Google Play, but often the least frustrating way to print is to email or copy the file to a desktop or laptop and print from there.
Chibi avatars are completely customizable! There are several print options that vary in poses and difficulty. The simplest chibi is very kid friendly. Incredibly fun for school art classes. Teachers, consider adding them to storytelling projects!
Take a photo of the chibi avatars you've made and share them on Instagram or Twitter with hash tag #paperchibi.

6 Types of Origami Papers

good afternoon..

for u guys that dont really know what kind of paper u should use if u wanna make an origami, heres what i found on wikipedia for u..hope it'll help ^^

well offcourse u can just use any paper if u want especially if these papers is hard to find in ur neighborhood, so enough for the chit chat..here it is:

Kami

This paper is the easiest to find and cheapest to buy. It is also the most basic: kami, or koi paper. Kami is thin and easy to fold. It is usually printed only on one side, with a solid color or pattern. These patterns can be as simple as a gradation from red to blue, or as complex as a multi-colored kimono pattern of flowers and cranes with gold foil embellishments. Kami comes in several sizes, but standard sizes include 75 × 75 mm (about 3 × 3 inches), 6-inch squares and 10-inch squares.

Origamido

Meaning the "Way of paper folding," this handmade paper is created by Micheal Lafosse specifically for origami. It is designed for thinness.

Paper-backed foil

This medium is a slightly more expensive, flashier, paper that is good for retaining creases called paper-backed foil paper, Japanese foil, or simply foil. Foil paper is composed of a thin layer of foil adhered to an extremely thin sheet of paper. The most common colors are silver and gold, but any color is possible in foil paper including bright pink, blue and copper. In many multi-color packs, one sheet each of silver and gold paper is included. These are usually placed on the bottom end of the string if used in a thousand origami cranes.

Washi

Washi is a thick handmade paper, available commercially but very expensive. Washi is a long-fibred paper but is also very soft. It does not hold a sharp fold due to the extremely long and thick fibres of the pulp. Inclusions of flowers, leaves, grass, seeds, string, ribbon, and other small decorative items are common for washi, adding to the random and handmade appearance of the finished craft. Washi is also accepting of ink, making it easy to print upon. Printed washi has a uniquely shiny, uneven and occasionally transparent texture. In origami it is not as commonly used as kami paper.

Chiyogami

Chiyogami (literally "1000 generation paper") is an inexpensive alternative to washi paper. It is a traditional block-printed paper.

Dollar bills and banknotes

An origami snail that is made out of a dollar bill.

Banknotes may be used to fold models as well. Banknotes are common media for folding as the subject in the center of the banknote, like George Washington, can make a striking appearance on the finished model.

Big Animated Origami Tutorial
"Big Animated Origami Tutorial" is unique application, that allows you to quickly learn how to make dozens of origami.
Every origami is animated, you can pause any step, rewind movie or increase/decrease speed as well as engage reverse playback.
Origami (from ori meaning "folding", and kami meaning "paper"; kami changes to gami due to rendaku) is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, which started in the 17th century AD at the latest and was popularized outside of Japan in the mid-1900s. It has since then evolved into a modern art form. The goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of material into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques, and as such the use of cuts or glue are not considered to be origami. Paper cutting and gluing is usually considered kirigami.
The number of basic origami folds is small, but they can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs. The best known origami model is probably the Japanese paper crane. In general, these designs begin with a square sheet of paper whose sides may be different colors or prints. Traditional Japanese origami, which has been practiced since the Edo era (1603–1867), has often been less strict about these conventions, sometimes cutting the paper or using nonsquare shapes to start with.
With help of this application, You can fold great christmas, new year, valentine's day gifts and presents and as well just simply have a good, happy time and impress your friends and family.
"Big Animated Origami Tutorial" contains 150+ movies of popular origamies, divided in following categories:
- Animal
- Bugs
- Christmas
- Clothes
- Flowers
- Fun
- Halloween
- Paper planes
- Sea
- Valentines
ATTENTION: To run this application properly, you need to have flash player installed on your device
The application contains English, Italian, German, French and Russian languages.

The Boston Marathon Bomb suspects Found!!

i read the newyorker.com today and they said that the FBI has released pictures of the suspects at the Boston marathon bombing...here is the news: “The only official photos that should be officially relied on are those you see before you today,” Richard Deslauriers, the special agent in charge of the F.B.I.’s Boston office, said at a press conference just after 5 P.M. Thursday. The two easels that had been empty when he came onstage now had pictures on them, affixed to black poster boards. The images were “the only ones—I emphasize, the only ones” that should be used to identify the men who Deslauriers called Suspect One, in a black baseball cap with some sort of white logo, and Suspect Two, with a white cap on backward. He can be seen putting a bag down. The F.B.I. doesn’t yet have their names, and what the public doesn’t have is their story. (I’ll update this post as more information becomes available.)

boston-bombing-fbi-photo.jpg
Were they alone? Were they part of a group? “We initially developed a single person of interest,” Deslauriers said. In tracking him, presumably through pictures, the F.B.I. “developed a second subject.” In one stretch of video, they seem to be walking more or less with each other “toward the direction of the finish line.” But after the explosions, Suspect Two, Deslauriers said, “proceeded west on Boylston Street.” No piece of information was too small: “Each piece brings us forward, toward justice.” He said that people who had been at Forum restaurant might have seen something. “Somebody out there knows these individuals,” Deslauriers said. But none of those somebodies should approach them: “We consider them to be armed and extremely dangerous.” There is a number to call (1-800-CALL-FBI) and a Web site(bostonmarathontips.fbi.gov). All the photos are on the F.B.I.’s site. And keep in mind that these new images are of suspects, not indicted bombers.
Neither is one of the young people from the front page of the Post this morning (one of those was a seventeen-year-old high-school student who runs track), or the Saudi man who was briefly focussed on by news outlets. And they weren’t a focus of the Reddit effort, either. (Reddit has turned to trying to analyze the F.B.I. pictures—what are those logos on the hats?—and finding more.) These men look young. They seem to have darkish hair, but neither is wearing a T-shirt saying where he or his family is from. These are still nameless men sought in a murder and mass bombing. They are still strangers—but not, the F.B.I. is hoping, to everybody.
A couple of hours after the press conference, Bloomberg reported that Jeff Bauman, a bombing victim who lost his lower legs—and might have lost his life, if Carlos Arredondo, the man in the cowboy hat, hadn’t helped stop the bleeding—may have helped the F.B.I. to find those figures in the photographic crowds. “He woke up under so much drugs, asked for a paper and pen and wrote, ‘bag, saw the guy, looked right at me,’” Chris Bauman, his brother, told Bloomberg. He added that Jeff gave a description to the F.B.I. “while still in intensive care.”

Bomb On Boston Marathon

good afternoon.. i feel really sad when i read about bombing in the boston marathon...sport suppossed to be sign of friendship of all human..but now some people have ruined it..what can of devil who can do such thing?? lets pray for the victims lets pray that this wont happen again...ever here some news about it i found on net They have come for our churches, our schools, our national monuments, our kids with more and more frequency. Foreign and domestic terrorists, from Al-Qaeda to Timothy McVeigh to Adam Lanza, armed with their gripes and guns, their bombs and beliefs, their holy wars and gutless stands taken against the innocent. It was only a matter of time before they came for our sports again. And when two IEDs (improvised explosive devices) were detonated near the finish line at the Boston Marathon, killing three and injuring many more, there was at least some sense this day had been coming all along. The idea, after all, with this cowardly and disgruntled minority is to inflict as much death and destruction not simply upon Americans but our way of life, and so events like the Boston Marathon were always vulnerable, just like Atlanta Olympics in 1996. There is perhaps no greater demonstration of the human spirit in sports than the 26.2-mile marathon; the resilience required is inspiring. And there is no greater marathon than Boston, the whole city taking off and basking in what is a holiday. These moments should be off limits, but this is why they are not. No longer can we call games our refuge from the ugliness. It is simply the next battlefield in man’s inhumanity to man. That we have adopted an almost routine following this kind of carnage speaks to its increasing frequency. We offer our hearts and prayers on Facebook, Twitter and beyond. source: http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/boston-marathon-bombings-time-for-prayer-and-for-strength-to-fight-back-041513
